just needed to put it out there
like the title says…. it’s just gotten on my nerves a lot lately to see people who applied a matter of 3-6 months ago, talking about how they’ve already been approved yet there’s people like me who have been waiting well over a year.. some waiting two or more.. WTAF is this all about? WE get shoved to the back of the line for NEW applicants? I think USCIS has some stuff backwards.. absolutely ridiculous. to those of you still waiting like I am, I hope this all speeds up and they start putting those of us who’ve actually been waiting FIRST! just doesn’t make any sense to me. can make us wait 1-2 years + but oh no, the new applications have to be done IMMEDIATELY 🥴. Rant over.. Sorry if I offended anyone but 🤷🏼♀️ it’s the truth.

I understand your frustration because I too had that same feeling. I filed May 5th 2022 and received my approval 3 weeks before my process turned a year, and I never received a work permit throughout the process. Then within 2 days of my I-130 turned to actively being reviewed I got an approval and RFE for medical for I-485 same day. I responded to RFE and 2 weeks later my I-485 was approved. Just hang in there, your frustration will soon turn into celebration 🙏🏾

@miaa brown Well said girl👏🏾👏🏾 If there weren't new cases being approved, while we've been put to stand in line while others cut in before us then our patience wouldn't be wearing so thin. I've been waiting for almost a yr with my I-130 being stuck on received...No one wants to be told it's a first come first served basis then feel like they're getting left behind.

I completely agree. I have been waiting 513 days now and still absolutely nothing. I have tried multiple expedites and the congressman did one 5 months ago and they it is being reviewed by an officer but final adjudication is delayed due to workload factors not related to my case. they sent that 2 months back to back why not just approve instead of wasting time sending an update about doing nothing.
