Is it Washington DC field office ? Did you completed this interview in this field office ?

@Utopia L Yes my paralegal and I did a few + I contacted congresswoman office 2 times 1st time took like 2 weeks to hear back from them 2nd time after 45 days I did it again 30 days passed no response then I asked tier1 agent that I need to talk to tier2 agent. they’ve never called about 3 weeks later got email said After careful review of your inquiry for your I-485 Permanent Residence/Adjust Status (Others), we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your case; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the Texas Service Center. 6 weeks later got approved.

@Immigration Journey Yes it was medical RFE. back then PD was current so I file with i485. they received my RFE in Sep 21st 2023.

@B.j Nurse I don’t know. my case was approved on 5/23 and they ordered my new card on 5/22 no card being produced yet and tomorrow will be a holiday so I hope to get an update on Tuesday and also to have card delivered by the end of the week. I got combo cards within a week from card being produced.

@S T hi. what did they ask at the interview? also howlong it took them to schedule interview after case is ready to be scheduled interview?

@green2023 g simple questions about yourself and employer. officer was kind off follow each page by page on your application. my case “ready to be scheduled interview/ schedule interview” the same day.

@green2023 g do you have an attorney? I practiced interviewing with my attorney 2 times by phone b4 actual interview.

@S T how long it took? Also did they approve there? mine is still ready to be scheduled interview. I will talk to my attorney but he said we should wait for the interview notice first. Also do you have a telegram? I would like to talk to you. if it is ok for you?

I’m not sure it’s about 40-45 mins or so way longer than my wife as I’m primary.

UPDATE my card was mailed to me today.

my case comes to the end. I received GC today. will see me again 5 years from now. again thanks to everyone and this community.
