hello my husband who is a US citizen got into a fight that involved a minor and he was sentenced for 1 year in jail for child abuse and he is out and we got an appointment for biometrics i130 will he still be qualified to sponsor me for greencard?

yes he will, no need for a lawyer. just need to have the proper documentation explaining what took place on his part. it should not affect you because you did not commit the crime. and yes like @ E L said, just double check policies, laws etc, on that matter.l being that is super sensitive
