Congrats, what was the RFE about?

RFE was about many items: Not sufficient information on substantial merit and national importance as well as on whether the applicant is well positioned to propose the proposed endavour. I had to rewrite the statement basically and got at least 6 new recommendations. I think the recommendations and the fact that I was already working on my area of expertise really helped my case. Plus, I had around publications.
