Have you spoke to a representative about the issue? Call 18003755283 and say 'info pass' to talk with an agent and ask if there is an interview scheduled for you. This is a long time to be waiting.

I have a friend of mine who’s been waiting for 5 years. There is a backlog before Covid and is getting worse.

@Nasser . USCIS don't care about asylum cases. I can understand backlog but seems they dont work on it

@Kristine kris I believe they will approve your case soon. They showed again how uscis does not care about case. In 8 years they do not take action on your case. Where are you from? I mean your origin country. Who was the your attorney? Thank you for your answers in advance

@H J unfortunately no any update. my case is in arlington asylum office. the worst service center I think. they only said they have a not resource to schedule an interview. seems it will take more and more years.
