You're priority date is the date that is on your receipt for the I-485 that is the Adjustment of status. Your PD is November. your PD is not August.

Anna, yes. But on my I-485 receipt that I got in the mail today it says specifically that my PD is August.

Well then go with that date then. Less wait time. If they are going off the PD off the I-130 then my PD is August 2020 and Not Sep 2021. This is a whole different ball game

Well that’s very interesting! I’ll have to do some research on this, I’ve always thought the I-485 processing times start when the form is sent in. If somehow it’s from the PD, that could change things but I really don’t know how it works exactly.

@Alec Literally the same I've been telling people my PD is Sep this whole time. But I'm just now actually reading the approval notice with actual understand. And I saw where it said a copy of the approval notice should be sent in with the I-485 form.
