Is Mandamus the only option?
It’s been more than 3 years now. Interview was cancelled by USCIS 3 days before scheduled date and never rescheduled. USCIS inquiries, Congressional inquiry, senator’s office - nothing is helping. No indication or apparent reason on why this is taking this long either. No prior history or violations. Is Mandamus Lawsuit really my only option at this point? Anyone else in Chicago office or anywhere else in this position?

Seems you tried it all, mandamus could help to get a decision. Do youtube search "writ of mandamus pro se" many people got help from there.

Following up on my mom’s case, I filed Mandamus Pro Se, and USCIS approved 1 day after receiving the lawsuit. It’s as if they were just sitting on old cases, and just need a legal reason to approve them. Anyway, releived for a long process that lasted 3 years and 1 month!
