Is it possible to request a travel authorization for visiting my country because my mom will have a medical procedure
My I-131 was denied and I presented a motion (in processing). This week, I received a news about a medical procedure for my mom and it is risky. My EAD does not allow to travel. I know that it would affect my process and I-485 if travel at this time. I would just like to go to my country and come back to be with my family after accompanying to my mother. Do you give me some suggestions? Has anyone had a similar situation? #eb2 #parole #i-131

You can put an expedite request as your situation clearly meets the humanitarian criteria. Why was your AP denied?

I had similar situation. I Expedited through Emma and asked for the second tier officer. Said it’s urgent family emergency and has to support it with the documents. They assigned someone and had to send the Letter from the doctor saying it’s critical condition. And, it took me 30 days to get response from them then another 2-3 weeks for approval.

Agree with others, request an expedite AP by providing evidence. Do not leave without a valid AP as you will not be able to re-enter and you will likely loose your GC due to abbandoned case. Seek for immigration lawyer assistance if you really need to go.

if it’s emergency right now take your lawyer with you to local USCIS office with supporting documents they would give you 30 days parole to travel, same day. Hope this helps you.
