Is it possible for only the I-131 to be denied while the I-485 is still pending?
Hi, my priority date is May 22, 2021 (unskilled). I received a notification from Lawfully yesterday that my I-131 was denied, but my I-485 is still pending. I'm worried about this… Could there be a problem with my I-485? I'm not sure… Anyway, I have sent an email to my lawyer. Just I wonder it is normal..processing..

Maybe it was not signed, maybe something is missing and can be refiled.

sometimes lawyers do this to miss something so u will continue paying them

I got my I-131 denied too today. they approved EAD on May but not I-131… I-485 still pending

@ak k Yeah, same here. Neither am I. 131(denied). 765(did renew after approved 2 years before). 485 (just pending). I am asking to my lawyer. I will let you know.

@ak k hey you should ask your lawyer about this. My lawyer told me that someone with a similar name, gender, and passport to mine (I think USCIS didn’t check the details thoroughly) left the USA in 2020. Because of this, I need to reapply for Form I-131 with a letter, a complete copy of my passport, the application fee, and the lawyer’s fee.

@yummy hoo omg crazy it happened… they just made a mistakes because of similar passport? I will check on my lawyer 🙏 thank you so much and hope your next application will get approved 😭🙏 will update mine too 🤞
