Is it normal?
My case has been pending for over 9 years and was just migrated to ELIS on May 20, 2024. Any ideas on how long I should wait to see another update or receive an approval from them?

looks like we have to wait my PD is may 2014 and still waiting for approval i-130 F3

@Bill Ho F3 cases can take anywhere from 15-18 Years. USCIS currently working on cases from 2012 (getting documentary qualifies) and 2010 (getting visa call). If you check visa billetin then you will know what year and month they are currently working on.

@M Pat it doesn't take that long f4 probably take that long i have known people who case approved in ten years exact everyone case is different

@M Pat Thanks for that. But my case is actually quite complex. After USCIS moved my case to ELIS, I also sent them a letter with my divorce decree and an explanation. If they approve that letter, my visa category will change from F3 to F1. So, I really need USCIS to take a look at my case and my letter, but it’s been over half a year and they haven’t done anything yet.
