hi guys my interview is on Oct 14 and I have been married for 2 years. I dont have a SSN yet. Since I dont have an SSN my spouse has been filing his taxes as single. Would that create a problem in our interview.

errr if you’re married, and you’re filing taxes as single.. is that not some kind of misrepresentation? I mean there’s ‘married filing separately’ ‘head of household’. why file single when you’re married. just saying.

I don't apply for my SSN (cause doesn't make sense if you can't work) but I apply for my Itin in 2019 .I was married since 2018

my husband told me, even you don’t have any plan to work cause your waiting for your EAD, ss number is one of the important requirements almost for everything. that’s why I get mine right away.
