Same happened here. My daughter had her status changed to: interview was scheduled (she is 9 years old). And mine and my husband’s status are still the same (ready to be scheduled for an interview)… I’m waiting the notice to come to see what it is about and if we all should go together… I’ve seen that minors younger than 14 years old are not obligated to go, but let’s see what the notice says..

@Lily C lol 😝, the was mistakenly deleted where you advised about going together for the interview. i will do that, let’s see how it goes. and I did not know you already had your first interview. how was it? I know it was retrogression then.

@MZ A Honestly, it was awful.. 😕 My interview took more than 40 min.. The officer asked many questions about BDV, Envoy, how I found the job. Why I would move so far to receive so few per hour (I was still living in Massachusetts and my EAD wasn’t approved yet, so I wasn’t working for my sponsor at that time) .. Asked how I was paying for my expenses in the USA, as I was studying. Repeated the same questions on and on… Asked me to get my phone (that I had left with my husband at the waiting room) to show him the emails between me and BDV. He wrote everything on a paper… Then he asked a few questions( yes/no) from the i485 form and said he would interview my husband. For my husband he only asked yes/no questions. It took less than 15 min his interview… After that my case went to: Case must be reviewed”.. Stayed like this for 2 years, then changed to: Case remains pending… It was pending for a year when it changed to: Ready to be scheduled for an interview. Now here I go… Again.. 😅😂 I’m laughing, but I’m extremely tired… I hope I finally get an answer on November 3rd.

wow 😮. they did ask alot about bdv and it was under reviewed for 2 years and didn’t come as a negative outcome i will that as a win. this time you are more ready now. I don’t recall any emails from bdv? when was it? @Lily C

@MZ A the interview was in 2022. It’s a loooong story.. I am a client from BDV since 2019. I had another sponsor before which my I140 was denied (due something about the sponsor, not on my side)… BDV applied for me twice with the same sponsor and both of the times my cases were denied. So I wasted 2 years in this process until they offered me another one (the current one that I’m working with)… So we did communicate through email about this matter and the office asked to see the emails. After I started the process with this current sponsor I haven’t communicated with BDV anymore. Sometines they send me a generic email, but I don’t answer..I’m not interested 😅 As far as I understand, my tie is now exclusively with my sponsor 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MZ A Just to be clear, I kept my F1 status during the whole process, until I started working for the current sponsor and applied for the I485.
