interview was scheduled
thank you Jesus Christ. is it normal to have an interview for I-130 and I-485 the same time?
I can see the notice for the 485 but not the 130.
Houston office. any tip please. should I take our kids with us?

yes it’s normal! my husband and I just did ours a few days ago and it was for both. We did not have ours at the Houston office however the officers at our office in CA were very nice. As far as taking kids, I would suggest not to take the kids as it is your spouse petitioning and when we went, no one had their kids. Do take originals of your birth certificates for the kids and yourselves and copies as they may ask for that as well and original marriage certificate plus a copy of it. Take everything you submitted to make sure they have what they need as I thought they had everything from us but they did need a few things from me that I luckily brought. Best of wishes!! I-130 approved today and we got an RFE for 485 yesterday that we will be mailing the evidence they requested out shortly.

@Paloma Felix I talked to our lawyer and she said definitely take the kids 12-7. so now I am getting mixed answers

carry your kids with you if you wish because they going to ask for them and ask if they live with you to cut the dought bring them in on the interview with you.
