Hey guys,
I wanted to ask and see if anyone may know the answer to this. I’m currently in the waiting period after filing AOS(i765,i130,i485) my FO is NBC with a PD of 7/10/23. now I know I’m in the early stages however I’m the event that I do in fact get an interview, would I be able to attend said interview with an expired passport? I currently do not have any other form of identification and it’s going to be extremely hard to renew passport. just wanted to see if I would be ok. thank you in advance.

According to the uscis website it’s fine.

answer is, if it was valid when you applied, it is good. but if it was expired before you applied. you will need to renew your passport even before applying

@EANR 13 Can't U get the state ID? Also, your FO can't be NBC. Your local office is your FO, NBC is a service center.

@JENNIE . I haven’t gotten any correspondence from any other center besides NBC. I cannot get a state ID until after I get approved for EAD that will allow me to get social.

@EANR 13 means your cases are still @ the service center NBC. mine was there since year & was transferred to my Field Office 4 days ago. Give them the photocopy of your passport if that was what U used.
