Did you get your IL ?

Go ahead and file your tax. My wife interview is at the end of this month. I won’t take any chances. I have filed my 2023 tax returns and even do a new affidavit of support and gave it to her when I visited her just in case.

Got DQ December 5 2023. Got my IL last month. Interview date for April 30 2024. I filed 2023 tax after DQ. Filled out a new affidavit of support and gave it to my wife even if NVC or the embassy didn’t request for it. Just wants to be on the safe side should in case they ask for it on her interview date. I don’t want any delay.

@Easy I i have been DQ since march 12th and my husband has paid the tax return of 2023 in the last week of march but someone told me to not upload it until i get the IL because maybe the NVC gives us a new DQ with new date!! that makes me confused..

@Bee Amri Hii Bee, thank you!! 🥰if you are already DQ you really don't need to upload the 2023 tax return in the NVC website because it will open your case again, and it was already approved for you go to the next stage.. Just take it to the interview because there they can ask for.

yes I agree, but take it with u to interview. Ive read recently on posts that they are asking for it and not accepting extensions. idk how true, but why take chances

You can still upload documents after dq. it is even stated in the dq letter from nvc that you can continue to upload new documents. There us nothing wrong with uploading new documents after dq.
