Interview scheduled.
Hello,
please I am trying to confirm something. is it normal for an interview to be scheduled after 1-601A has been approved. I submitted the application in 2021, I-130 was approved then but 495 was not approved and I was asked to submit a i691A which I did and it was approved in Jan 2025. However, last week I got another letter asking me to come to another interview next week. Keep it in mind we had an interview in 2022 already.
Any insight will be appreciated.

they’re most likely wanting to go over any discrepancy and confirm their decision.

it is just scary. after close to 4 years, they are just pulling this now? it is really worrisome.

Im assuming you meant 485 and not 495 right? if they denied your 485 it means you were not eligible to adjust your status here. Did you appeal??

Yes. I meant 485. They didn’t deny it. they informed me that I should submit a i601A which I did in 2021. took them close to 4 years to approve it in Jan 2025. After it was approved, couple of months later they are now asking me to come in for another interview. This was after I had already had two interviews in 2022 for the 485.

@Lummy Deon you will be ask questions from i485 form .don’t warry about it .it happens to me and my husband we got i130 approved without interview and have to go for i485 .whole interview took as 15 min and we was approved on the spot

is ok bro or sis they will arrange for you and make sure you have your passport I did my application on 2022 still waiting and I did the interview in Montreal Canada

i mean I submitted I 601 and i212 on Jan 2022 stilll waiting to be approved
