Interview Scheduled
We have been scheduled for an interview but I haven’t received the letter yet. I only got the notification on Thursday (03/07) from my tracking apps.
two things:
• My wife is in Canada for vet school, and if the interview is in April it will be around the same time as her finals. She will fly here for the interview if she absolutely needs to, but Vet school is already difficult enough that I don’t want to mess with her flow of studying by having her fly home for the interview if it can be moved.
Is there a way to postpone by a month?
Would that add any more complexity to the interview? (our case is already complex enough - different races, she’s wealthy and I’m not, she’s studying in a different country etc.)
Does anyone have experience with this kind of stuff?
• How long do they set the date from the day you get the notification?

@Chris E try as much as possible to make the interview if you reschedule it takes 6month to years to get another one
I have a relative still waiting on the interview after she rescheduled it’s been 1year and3months now
My cousin had her interview last month right after she had a baby she went hospital gown and all because she didn’t want to wait too she was approved and just received her green card

@shine beauty oh no! that’s too long. I haven’t been able to visit her in Canada bc I’m Adjusting status and I can’t travel. this is very difficult 😔

so if she is in canada wouldn’t she have to go to Montreal embassy for interview?
