Interview Scheduled
Marriage based Hello, I had my interview scheduled for mid-January 2026. The interview itself went normally—not particularly good or bad. They conducted a separate stock interview, which lasted about an hour and a half. At the end, the officer informed me that I would receive their decision via email. However, it has now been almost 95 days with no update. Additionally, the status on my application has not changed from "Interview Scheduled" to "We are reviewing your case." Is there anyone else experiencing a similar delay or status issue? Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are you in usa ?

@Maddy M Expect an approval, a home visit or another interview. Ultimately, you might have to sue to get a decision. Were you out of status when you filed? Were you or your spouse married before? Are you from a banned country?

@Rocco Forté No I didn’t have my Attorney i got some confusion in dates

@Maddy M Yea that wasn’t a good idea. Only thing to do now is to wait and continue gathering martial evidence. They might visit your home or bring you back for another interview, send RFE or NOID or they will simply go ahead to approve the case.

@Maddy M It should be but general advice is to travel after you get your green card. This current administration aren’t immigrant friendly

Yes, this can happen. An online status that still says “Interview Scheduled” after the interview does not necessarily mean a problem. USCIS online statuses are not always updated right away or in a way that reflects every internal step. For a marriage-based I-485, there is no fixed 95-day post-interview decision deadline, and after a separate/Stokes-style interview USCIS may keep the case under review while it finishes eligibility, admissibility, or background-check review. So for now you just have to wait.
