going with your lawyer is always a plus. overstaying visa is not a issue for VAWA.

@waiting game and I also got the notice last week for both. i-485 first and 10 min later for i-360. Lawfully and Case Tracker app’s next step prediction says that most likely the next notification within 3-7 days is “interview cancelled” for i-360. My attorney called USCIS but their system was down so they could not give me any further information so I am just waiting now.

@d k ok. a lot of people are talking about receiving “ interview cancellation “ a few days after receiving the “ interview was rescheduled “ notice. like which one is it ! these people are driving us crazy

you will be fine. make sure to review your personal statement and psychological evaluation and make sure the dates align. also you might be asked to recount instances of any abuse you experienced, what was your breaking point, the timeline of your relationship etc. make sure your answers are consistent as possible. keep calm and pray before you go. God will be with you and you will come back with your testimony. dont worry about your overstay, it does not matter. focus on the interview itself

@franny zee thank you can i bring more evidence? because more abuse happened after submitting my case in 2022 . he broke my toe,, i went to a domestic violence shelter. i went to court with him in 2023 , he’s been served with a restraining order. USCIS doesn’t have all that,can i bring them with me?.

you can get a letter from the shelter and the restriction order every proof you got bring it with you

@waiting game yes definitely bring more evidence if you have. ask the interviewer if its ok to present more evidence then if they say its ok you can present it. bring any doctors report, copy of restraining order etc to the interview. those are very strong evidence

i got the letter. Mine is May 5 and definitely for both cases

mine said I didn’t show up for interview despite not receiving any letter nor alert and my lawyer got nothing as well. I my application has been like that since then no update no changes. check mail and tracking case everyday even on Sundays

@waiting game yes I did. send in change of address then but don’t think it was updated so I send in another. Even with that there was no update on case tracker, lawfully, or mal notice sent indicating there will be interview

@d k on my I-485 “Case Was Updated To Show That No One Appeared for In-Person Processing” it was a glitch on their part but they don’t still care.
