does your husband is inside US or outside US what about you ? are u inside US or outside US right now ? if you file just stand alone I-130 that means it’s not green card interview because you haven’t file anything yet.

yeah stay put. my case in Potomac has been “actively reviewing” for 14 months. obviously it’s a lie they didn’t do anything

yep including ask help from congressman. i did it all. can’t inquire, USCIS said “ it’s within normal processing” shaking my head

I have seen that they are getting the interview for the i-485 before the ead, please bring all your originals and be ready for the questions, as well as copies of the new proof for the marriage, when you referred to your husband, say My husband, our house, our bank, my husband's job, etc.

When you get the letter for the biometrics, it specify it is for the biometrics, if the letter explained you about the 10 days out of the country, to be there on time and your name , it's must likely the interview for your petition.

@Klaus I received the letter on Friday, they're requesting for us to bring proof such as bank account, lease, pictures and more. when I first filed 2 years I had one child now I have another one should I send them the birth certificate prior to my interview or just wait when I get there and give it to them. our lawyer passed away due to covid and I don't know the new lawyer very well we only spoke once over the phone for introduction.

how was your interview? have you received any decision in you case after the interview

I did the same interview In San Jose office February 16 and not received any decision yet

good afternoon friends and families, I had my interview this morning at Newark Field Office. the interview went very well, and the officer was very nice and pleasant. she asked me only three questions and my husband three questions. how did I met my husband? what is my husband birthday? why did I take so long to divorce my ex husband, then for my husband she asked him my birthday, how many times did he get married, and is my both sons is his biological sons. we did not get approved at the same time. my questions is I get my citizenship through my mother, I did not have the certificate, but I have a us passport which she said my passport doesn't link to uscis website. is it going to a problem for us or no? she also assure us that everything will be OK as soon I she receive my file. she said she didn't want to see any of our proof because our children is the biggest of all.
