interview coming up next Month
this may be a silly question, but we have our interview coming up for my husbands case and we wondering if wearing casual clothes would be okay? never had an consular interview before. I work in a law firm, do we dress like work attire? or more casual?

you can wear black jeans pants not too tight and a button front shirt(with collar) with a work shoes.

I wore long denim dress. My attorney said sometime consular officer see a lot of people wearing “boring” jeans and shirts so they will remember people a little bit different clothes. Of course in a good way lol as long as it’s not too revealing and not too pop out colorful. And as a result the one who interviewed me had a really good impression, after he stamped on my paperwork he said he liked my dress. So good luck with your interview 🍀

awwwww that’s so nice and good advice @Trang Nguyen thank you so much. Ima make my husband wear chino tan pants and a nice beige shirt, and I will wear a dressy beige jumpsuit with a white blazer on top. I’m so excited and hoping everything goes well for us and they approve my husband on the spot. our daughter turns 2 the month after our interview and will be nice to travel overseas
