i think its a mistake on uscis .did they even check the mailing address to see if they both are different?

it is their mistake they confirmed cross contamination in my account and that I have to wait but WHY do I have to wait I have approved i130 since 2020 I feel like I’m being played I have assets back home in Canada I have to get to or they will default. no advance parole issued no green card, how draconian of them to do this monumental mistake.

did they tell you this or you assuming? cuz yes two people can have same details but diff A numbers and the chances are very slim. what did they tell you exactly?

they said there is a mix up with the Alien Number and that they assigned me someone else’s alien number and biometrics who has the same name birthday and origin as me but when they look up my alien number that person already has his citizenship and I told them I don’t I just filed in 2020. they said that there’s cross contamination and that my files and his files need to be isolated from the rest and put in the right track is what they said. after that my biometrics

I’m jus shocked like every uscis officer I talk to confirms what I’m saying and she put out an urgent SR and it’s been 6 days I haven’t heard from that SR and Orlando field office cancelled my GC interview and told me to file a FOIA? like why are they punishing me it’s their fault can’t they just look at our passports and see who we are this is just silly politics

no I didn’t because my EAD came in with the other persons picture on it all the info was mine but pic!! I sent it back and even though I applied for a SSN I didn’t get one probably because it’s the other guys. they still haven’t sent me anything. just saying their going to work on it and giving me SRs and FOIA I’m so annoyed and if I file again what if they mix me up again? I’ll have to move to a new address then file again I guess. I send a new EAD request so let’s see how that goes. I sent them i765 without payment and the lockbox accepted it I told them about my situation so let’s hope they do something about this mess

all this, while I’m defaulting on my assets in Canada and losing serious money. if I leave my case is closed if I stay nothings happening to my case. Christ help me.

I don’t have the resources to take this to court I wish I could but I’d rather have uscis just fix this issue

how much is it to take a case to court? does it take long? I just have no experience with immigration court
