Interview Canceled after having the interview?
Hello, just on here asking if anybody had this happen…
Been waiting since May 2020, located in Sacramento. I had interview scheduled on Feb 2nd. Attend the interview on Feb 28th, the officer seemed very suspicious even though we have been together for 4 years, no criminal history or any issues at all, lots of pictures and other evidence of trips, cars, bank together. Officer mentioned we will get an answer in 30days.. On March 8 my interview was apparently “cancelled “ (the one that I went to) and then on February 12th it said that interview was scheduled?
Is this considered a second interview? what else could I be proving to them? Our first interview they split us right away and had very no sense questions..
Anyone have experienced something like this?
We filed ourselves but I spoke with a attorney recently and he was pretty shocked / confused and thought it might be a mistake?

@vp vpe Heres what they told me. My wife and I had been married for 5 years and we recently just had our interview. We didn't file before because she had a tourist visa and we spent a lot of time together overseas. So when we had our interview last month, they said they would have normally waived our interview but because we had been married so long and not filled that it raised red flags for fraud. They said a lot of fake marriages wait so they can get their 10 year green card first. Just thought I would share.

u married for five years and that what they taught somebody would waste five years of there lives just for a green card that ridiculous so u see what I am saying those who married 2 years they believe in ther marriage and within the two years they divorced file for vawa and got thru bt there a god seeing everything they r doing ti people lives I am married for 6 years and that the reason I now understand why they not approving ours too
oty utaMar 19, 2023
@vp vpe yes it is very unfair, I do not understand how a new case has more priority than my case? . I want to be done with this and just go on with my normal life, but they have time I guess..
oty utaMar 19, 2023
@Jacob Dill I guess thats how they see it, but in my opinion no money or anything is worth wasting 5 years to fake something..
vp vpeMar 19, 2023
Jacob Dill how can u take a marriage for over five years some of us have a child with our spouse, some have join account together although that can fake,so the marriage that is less than two years and they divorce less than the two years and they gave them approve what does uscis looking for my opinion is to break the real marriage they hate love

this makes me nervous. because I’ve been married for 9 years. we have 2 children together and we got scheduled for interview for next month. like @vp vpe said it’s crazy for them to think that someone would waste all that time for a green card. I hope the evidence I’m bringing to my interview is enough. And I hope you get an answer soon!

Look, its crazy to me as well. They think its okay and normal to approve someone that just got married and filed 5 days later.... Like everyone else who has been married a long time before filling. Getting paperwork done wasn't our priority, it was our marriage. We have 2 kids together and when we got around to having the time to do it, we did it.... They said otherwise our interview would have been waived based on everything we submitted if it weren't for how long we were married.

Right now I don’t know who they have working in the department.I spoke to a lawyer and Tis was the same thing she said how can u approve a marriage less than two years and within the two years they divorced file vawa or self petition and they accepted it and approve them, when did u marry They said December 22 and file December 22 and theyvok with it while a person married may 2017 put in there paper work 6 months after and they r saying it fraud I can’t see thru this how can I marry for so long sleeping with my spouse for fraud they r sick and I guess this is the America without any standard they filled with so much immortality and that what they stand for flag and go thru they don’t believe in thru relationship

The only thing that scares USCIS is lawsuits. The approve application in 60 days once lawsuits are filed especially when case has been pending for over two years
David baliliMar 19, 2023
@vp vpe did they approve your i130 at least ?
I went to interview 10 days ago my i130 approved but not i485 yet they said they need check my birth certificate

@oty uta did you bring your medical result with you during the interview? i have been asked to send it to Sacramento FO but i think we might still get scheduled for interview since we’ve been married since 2019 and inly filed last year.
law fully Mar 20, 2023
yes the sent the actual date
oty utaMar 20, 2023
@abbie p Yes I did. I did my Medical exam a couple of months after I applied (medical around September of 2020 and I applied in May). Luckily on their website they had an extension of 4 years instead of 2 years valid for a medical exam, the officer was a little confused on that one but then she said it was fine. If they just ask you for medical evidence they most likely will waive the interview since you applied in the 2022-2023 years which are getting approved and waived like crazy. Hopefully you get accepted without having to go through all of this, Goodluck!
