Interview
We had our interview in Lagos, Nigeria on July 10 everything went very well our age difference was never brought up as well as having children. My husband was ask how we met and when was the last time he saw me, he informed them I was outside waiting for him, she said that was good. She asked for chats but only looked at a few we had them all the way back to 2014 she looked at a few pic but I did Collages so one print had many different pic of all we did in Nigeria along with the dates. When my husband went inside they ask for his documents but when giving back didn’t have our 2022 tax return so we had to resubmit that. All in all a very good interview just waiting for them to look at tax return and he will get his visa. I’m disappointed in the set back with the form we were very organized but I feel very blessed it went as smoothe as it did. Much prayers for everyone here , this has been a long rode for us but God blessed us. Much love

@Debbie Amarachi I’ve been so scared of our age difference and afraid it would have a negative reflection but it wasn’t even brought up I think because of all our photos and I also included pic of him doing video calls with my family here. My husband said it was much easier than he anticipated but felt it was because of everything he has to show them. I made a folder with pic from every trip. I’ll be very honest so you know the age difference I’m 60 and my husband is 31 but we’ve been together for ten years and married for 3 and 1/2 of those. Yes it took 15 months to get an interview but I think it’s faster now because we got caught up in Covid

@Debbie Amarachi awesome!! They were very pleased that I visited so often. I’m happier in this marriage than I’ve ever been and get more love and respect than I thought possibly. Things are starting to move so much faster there is no way it will take you guys as long as it did us. Big big prayers for everyone we all need our families together under one roof🙏

it so so annoying leaving lovers apart for as long as 2-3years all in the name of immigration…it ridiculous and frustrating, everyone DQ at nvc stage right now is 36,576 ,let just say Nigerians are 10,000 which is not possible but will you tell me they need years to attend 10thousand pple 🤷‍♀️ make it make sense to me😡interview that doesn’t take up to 20mins …..I totally understand that Covid came in between and the world stopped for a year, but they can’t keep hiding behind Covid anymore…time is priceless, they came give back the years of my life they have taken all in the name of immigration ,Covid blah blah blah …my friend and I got married the 2021 and she had 2kids already but me I’m just stagnant waiting for one yeye interview date 🤦‍♀️we need to start bombarding them with calls and messages

@misi misi you are so very right even now even though we were approved we used my tax return instead of my tax transcript and so we are once again on hold waiting for them to review our paperwork so until visa in hand im a total nervous wreck😩
