yes visa bulletin affect I-485 same situation here I-30 approved And I-485 still pending…….

@lama l no visa bulletine doesn’t affect I-485 it’s just because of backlog and their random case processing. Visa bulletine only affects the filing date not the approval one.

@j l but i am not seeing any f2a with i485 approval, if the visa bulletin affects i130 how come most of the people are getting i130 approved

@lama l i have seen many f2a approved after this massive backlog as well. if you search here as well you will see many approved. i mean to say it affects your I-485 filing eligibility but not approval. not related to i-130. i tried to upgrage my case from f2a to IR, the office also said that don’t worry the backlog will not affect i-485 and they will upgrade my case at the time of approval so I am waiting.
