I don’t know about a group but has your case already been approved by USCIS ? if yes , did you pay the fees and upload all the documents required by NVC ? if yes , did you receive an email from NVC telling your you case has been transferred to the embassy and ready for interview?

my case is actually at the nvc I have just paid the fees two days ago. I just want to know how long I’m going to wait when I will finish the nvc step. thanks for letting me know

@waseela TR , you should get your interview date this month or beginning May, and the interview will probably be for June or July. just be ready , it will go fast and by the time you realize it it will be over

@waseela TR all you have to do is go into the petitioner account, then Menu , and go to Inbox , and click strat new message, you could choose the case there and write your message straight to the USCIS officer that handles the case

@Marvin G hello finaly we heard that a mistake was made on my sister i-130 it’s was not mentionned that she wanted a consular process in Burkina and they are telling us that maybe she will have to filled i-824 and we heard that it’s can take too much time before they approved it. I wanted to know we can make a correction so they will transfer the case to nvc without filling the i-824. Do you know what can we do?

@waseela TR Hi , I’m glad you finally got an answer from USCIS , I’m sorry to hear that a mistake was made while filling the i-130 .Unfortunately once an I-130 is approved, there’s not much that can be done, you will have to file the I-824 like the adviced you to . And yes it can be a long wait . I will suggest y’all go ahead a file it as soon as possible. good luck

@waseela TR , they usually ask you what you’re relationship with the sponsor, as weird it may sound they can still ask for DNA test even though it’s clear your stepdad ( not biological father). they could also ask since when you know him and how often you talk to him . when did you mom get married to him , they could also ask where would you be staying once in the USA, and who stays there too
