Interview
is it possible for I-130 & I-485 to be denied because the application was filled when visa is not current?
we went for our interview today, everything went well but the interviewer said they’re going to deny because the application was filled when visa for our country wasn’t current. I just want to know if anyone has ever experienced this?
also, I don’t expect that to affect the I-130?

no I filed April 7 2023 f2A category on November 20 I had interview which officer said approved but Visa bulletin not current

Thank you for your reply. did you also file both applications concurrently?
I don’t understand why he’s saying he’d most likely deny. he even said he had no issue with our case just the visa bulletin issue

no it wasn’t current and I filed I 130 I 485 i765 I 131 and before interview I 765 approved and after interview I 130 approved only I 485 left
