interview & travel
hi everyone, I got my combo card in July and my interview is scheduled for December 9. I am planning on travel to my family for Christmas. let’s say I get approved on spot but don’t get the new card mailed to me before I go - can I still travel on my combo card? Let’s say the case must be reviewed like the officer is not authorized to approve and I don’t get my new card on time - can I still travel with my combo card?

you can do whatever you want.Light chances are your are not approved on the spot, they request a RFE or your case is pending approval or waiting the card delivered .In that case, your AP doesn't work anymore and your trying to comeback without the GC in hand is gonna give you a hard time

you can travel with combo, but if I were you, I’ll wait until my Gc is on hand. if you approved on the spot it doesn’t mean you will get your gc right away, it takes time before it mail to you. or they might ask you for RFE.

if you get approved on spot ask the officer to stamp your passport
