Interfiling EB3 to EB2 with approved I140 in both

Hi, My PD is current in both EB3 and EB2. Last year I downgraded to EB3 and filed for my I485. Case transferred from Nebraska to NBC I have I140 approved in both EB2 and EB3 Now USCIS is asking to interfile from EB3 to EB2 since there are lot of visas available. Waiting for EAD/AP since 8 months. Question - Whats the benefit of interfiling to EB2? Will this speed up processing? Its mandatory to now submit I485J for interfiling. In case I want to move to a new employer, will interfiling impact my move? Should I wait for 6 months after interfiling and then change employer? Appreciate your response. Thanks

I'm in the same boat. current in EB2 & EB3 and looking to switch employers, but don't want to stay for another 6 months. I'm sticking with EB3 too.

inter file will not work if you switch employers. no point in switching employers at this time. we will get full time jobs anytime … be patience.. I am same boat.. interfiled..
