inquiry for chaning status of i-485
status has changed from request RFE to case is being activey reviewed by uscis on the same date. i haven’t responsed yet.
what does that mean? do i need to response RFE?
the document hasn’t been updated yet..
please advise me.

Definitely. Any request for an RFE means they need more documents from you to make a decision. They usually give a deadline to submit it. If not, your case may be denied.

thank you! i will definitely reponse but the thing is RFE status was changed to Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS without responsing yet and can’t find the notice in document tab on online.
