"in line to be reviewed by an officer"
hey guys, we submitted our I-130 in march of 2025 and we are doing consular processing. we haven't heard anything from uscis at all except the denial for our expedite request that was sent in september 2025 and the denial came in february of 2026. now at the beginning of march 2026 we got an email that said we are "in line to be reviewed by an officer". does anyone know if that means we are close to being reviewed or if it's more of a "we didn't forget you" kinda email? does it mean anything at all?

I’m very frustrating 😩 My PD December 2023 since January 2024 I haven’t heard anything

@ana argueta i believe it came from uscis directly but i'm not sure (it got sent to my husbands email)

Received a similar message on 21 Jan,2026 and since then no update.
"Case is currently pending adjudication and USCIS is conducting further review".
Anyway let's wait and hope the best.

Based on the timeline provided your case is still within the normal processing window for your case types. Typically USCIS processed these case types with in 13 - 18 motnhs and could be longer dependng on case complexity, and field office worklaod.
