immigration transferred too many times

Hey guys I have a n400 which I applied one month ago . And I have an i751 pending for 8 months … so one week later after applying for n400 they transferred my i751 from California service center to NBC and then transferred back to California service center …. So my main question is … does it restart my time ? Why would they send it back to the place where it originally came from … 😒

I have my i751 March 2020. transferred to NBC October 2020 filed my n400 June 2021. I was told when they transfer it doesn't affect the timeline but im still waiting on both
