Immigration and Driving License
anyone has good experience to share with DMV delaying a DL renewal due to verification with Immigration is slow due to backlog. dmv sends all paper to immigration to ensure legal presence before renewing License.
please share experience, my DL about to expire.

yes that can take a while. last time it took legal presence 6 weeks time before was 2 months. you can ask for a temporary month licence extension in dmv whilst waiting

in Missouri they provided 2 months extension

they didn’t renew mine….. I took the valid one to New York did change of address and show them at the DMV to get a new one…… it’s for 4yrs Naso I escape ooo
