@ML Ray yes i did the interview already... why do you asked? because without interview your visa will not be granted... it's the consular who will approve or denied your Visa even if USCIS or NVC approved your documents.

@R M I know all that my brother. my question is after DQ how many months have you waited to get your interview letter from NVC?

@ML Ray NVC will say 2 months, but i got my embassy information 2 weeks after DQ from NVC

@ML Ray wait time of Dakar embassy after DQ is 7 months the last batch of interview letter was sent on end of august for and it was for February 2023 DQ. the next batch will come maybe this end of week or month

@R M i am trying to see if I can see this information anywhere on their sites, what I’ve recently seen is within 60-90days respectively

@ML Ray that's what they will state by it will be lesser than that 60-90 days.. because NVC told me 60 days to get interview letter from the embassy, but i received it within 2weeks, now am waiting for the email for the pickup of my passport, which is within this week, 2 working days after the status check "ISSUED"

@R M a friend of mine has a slot within 2weeks, last Monday was his interview in Dakar

@R M the backlog in Dakar embassy is long because Dakar process immigrant visa for Senegal Mali Guinea Mauritania and Gambia at the same time that’s why

@R M yeah that’s why next bath of interview letter will be for people DQ on march and maybe April for interview date on November because they already covered the whole month of October

@ML Ray what is your visa category? USC /LRP? because IR visas which is the USC are unlimited, otherwise the LRP which i believe it's numeral and limited.

@ML Ray the wait time is 7 to 8 months after DQ unless you try to expedite your case and it’s very hard to that. just be patient your turn will come

@ML Ray m’y category is IR1 us citizen filing for a spouse and I waited 8 months to have an interview. if you were lpr you just wait for the visa bulletin and the wait time is almost 3 years after DQ

I’m a Senegalese and my wife and son are us citizens. everything was smooth but at the en of the interview the consular office said my case is under administrative processing so I have to wait again before have my visa 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

@R M my visa is not issued yet my case is in administrative processing that means they need more time to do the background check. I used to leave in France for 5 years the keep my police certificate for their verification

@DioM D your status will change to issued less than 10 days ONLy if no documents is requested

@DioM D only my children are born in the USA by birth,

@DioM D it shouldn’t be long maybe two weeks. they are just doing their due diligence bcus you’ve live in another country for a period of 5 years. I am sure you also know that they give priority to their citizens

it's a done deal i had my passport with the immigrant Visa in it today.
