it is disrespectful. I wish you at least could know the reason but it just feels like someone went on lunch break and forgot to finish the case. I’m so sorry. I’m not at 17 days but 7 days has felt like an eternity over here for me.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 Thanks to you. Every day I ask an online agent questions like crazy. Do they really need more than 17 days to make a decision? I would have preferred that my i130 not be approved, it would have given me less stress. That feeling of knowing you're almost there, but in the end it doesn't happen. I'm obliged to travel in 8 days with my advance parole, even though I thought I'd be traveling peacefully with my green card. My husband is stressed too.

@cloclo 92 I said the same thing. wish my 130 wasn’t approved. did they ask you any weird questions about your entry or admissibility in the interview?

it’s been 60 days since my interview, 47 days since my I-130 is approved. 485 is still pending.

it’s been 4 months since my I 130 is approved but no update on my i485 it’s so stressful

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 They didn't ask me any questions. But I came on an F1 visa and never overstayed. I've never had a problem with the law.

I swear everything in this game is luck. someone comes on a tourist visa, marries a citizen after a month and gets their GC approved in less than 6 months. it’s a f-d up system. I have kids and o pay taxes. I follow the laws. I don’t have speeding tickets. what more do I need to do? 😭❤️ sending one up for you

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 im gonna die at this time. I got my work permit in January. I'm not working yet, but I'm going to start in September because I've found a job. But my husband and I did the taxes together.

yes did my interview June 22, 2023 and now we are in August 2024, no letter no mail no nothing haven't heard back from them.

I’m in the same situation after the interview the I-130 got approved and still waiting for I-1485. they are playing with people’s emotions like why not approve both applications if you just gonna approve one and have the second one pending!

omgg until now i was reading all the cases when the 485 was approved either the next day or 11 days after the 130.. Now i am dissapointed too. How long it takes for someone to do background check and make a decission 😢 it looks like someone said let’s put those cases back in the “folder” and check them back after 4 months 😂

@Marija T no update. radio silence. no active review nothing. Emma told me my case is progressing normally at Charlotte and my interview has been waived.

I am waiting 4 months after interview and it’s so hard.

I have seen 11 days but not sure where. I just called USCIS contact center and spoke to a really nice lady that was like an Emma. didn’t give me much info but she was very nice. I don’t know if Emma’s can do anything but I’m hoping she leaves a nice note on my case 😂

What depresses me the most is that: The day after the interview my 130 was approved and my 485 actively reviewed and step 4 awaiting decision. I'm going to send an express document for them to open my file. Yes my health insurance card, I didn't have it the day of the interview. I'll send them this as an unsolicited document at least someone will look at my case. What do you think? LOL🤣🤣🤣
