you must go through conaular processing. You can not adjust status here. Find Pending Assylum to EB2 group on facebook.

There is a matter of orban that lawyers use and could adjust status here.

you can apply, but you either have to leave and entry the country again with a clean entry or do it through a consular process

@sam muel you are eligible to apply. I know a friend who was on pending asylum, applied for EB2 NIW and got approved with green card without going out of the US.

if you did , you can actually get your green card within the US if you have an approved eb2 NIW

Then you should be fine with getting your EB2 green card within the US
