November 12, 2021: card was produced November 12, 2021: I-797 approval received November 15, 2021: card was picked up by USPS November 17, 2021: EAD (form I-766) received/delivered. Center: Nebraska Receipt number: IOE-09-112-63xxx Category: C8, renewal.

I'm so sorry to hear that, D A. I've seen some more April filers receive their EAD's from the same center too. so, hopefully you should be next. you don't have any criminal records, do you? because per the new rules in effects since 2020, that would be a reason for USCIS to deny you the EAD.

Martin - Yes, they let you know whether they accept or deny cases and reasons for denying if that's the case. there's also the fact that background checks take a while and we need to include the backlog and when they started working on your petition. but a USCIS agent had told me that when you see "case actively being reviewed by USCIS" it means that your petition is finally picked up by an officer and in line for review. now, the time that it spends on that status depends on how many cases ahead of you. I spent almost 1.5 month in "Actively Being Reviewed by USCIS". for me, that was the worse time of the wait because though your case could move forward any day from there, it can also drag depending on factors that are outside your control. but keep the faith and hope strong. 🙂

I thank God this morning my Uscis account says the card is being produced this is after an outside processing time inquiry from me and an expediting request from my senator.

Im so happy I was just 8 days away from losing my job.

martin m if i start expedite my case with senator today how long does it take for me? im in New York. how long does it take for you?

I did it yesterday morning via phone they sent some forms by email which I sent back by email.Today morning I got an email from USCIS telling me about the inquiry and that a decision will be made shortly.After one Hour it changed on the App to card being produced.So for me it took one day.

Call the office and ask to speak to whoever is in charge of immigration
