@I I : thank you! They sent me a letter with my interview date (so they say) but I never received it so I missed the appointment. They immediately sent me a denial letter and shortly after a Notice of Appearance for removal proceedings. I immediately refiled the I-751. Then I attended the master hearing, asked for a continuance and then filed a Prosecutorial Descretion request. The request was granted and the removal proceedings dismissed. I then got an I-551 stamp and continued on with my life. (work, travel, etc.) But then the new I-751 was taking soooo long, I decided to make an expedite request. That did not yield any results. I then reached out to my congressman. I think that helped because they started moving my file along. It went from Vermont, to NBC then to my field office. Then congressman office said that field office said they were doing extensive review. Eventually, they approved my case and mailed the GC. I didn’t do an interview.

I used a lawyer to refile the I-751 application but that’s all they did. I did everything else myself.

Thanks. I have a pending 1-751. I used a lawyer to file. Hopefully if they send a notice and I didn’t receive, my lawyer will. I tried checking my online account but couldn’t find anything under documents. I believe only my lawyer could see the documents section. Do you have any other idea I can see any notice sent but I didn’t get in the mail? Just to be on the lookout

You should have completed a G-28 form which would give your attorney permission to receive documents on your behalf. USCIS will also mail you a copy of any letter they send to your attorney.

Use this link to find your congressman and look for their contact info. https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member Typically, they will provide a form online for you to fill out and then someone from the office responds via email.

so I have my i751 and N400 interview done yesterday. passed the test. the IO gave me a letter stating that I passed that test but decision cannot be made. she told me will have to go through my i751 to make sure it’s all good. my spouse was with me. my question is, does she not have the time to look through the i751 before we get there? does any of you have a similar experiance?

I751 has been pending since march of 2021 N400 pending since march of 2022 Had my N400 interview on December 8th officer said he will request for my i751 file and I passed the civic exam .On may 14 I checked online and it said my I751 case has being transferred to another field office . I checked today now this“Appeal/Motion Was Dismissed Your appeal/motion was dismissed”.Your case remains denied. On April 18, 2023, we sent you a notice about this action. please contact the appellate authority directly. I’m freaking out crying and scared. I never applied for no appeal/motion just the regular i751 that has been pending. checked my N400 it says We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number IOE9314338101, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. Is the i751 status update a mistake? And why my N400 would say in line for Oath ceremony ? Called CIS asked about i751 they said they would have a tier2 contact me and for the N400 they said i751 got a be approved first
