i751 pending from june 2021
Hello. Is there anyone who applied for i751 in June 2021 and then for n400 in June 2022 and still waiting for decision. My case i751 was first send in Vermont and after I applied for n400 both cases got transfered to NBC in July 2022. My field office for n400 is Boston. They also send me the 48 months extension.

Hi Ksenia. I’m really losing any hope. Thought that if I apply for n400 my case will move faster, but now I think it is just slowing down things. Did they send you the 48 months extension? I’m seriously considering to send a request for case outside normal processing time. This is crazy. We don’t have life, just waiting for so long and no update, no interview nothing.

I think sending a request for I-751 being outside of processing time is perfectly reasonable. I am about to give up on my n-400 and withdraw it. I just need my 10 years gc. I will re-apply again in 2024 based on 5 years.

Oh my God. I was thinking exactly the same thing, that it will be better to withdraw the n400 application, but thought I’ll sound crazy. I want this 10 year green card too, but I don’t know I’m waiting already 10 months for this n400 and all the money I spend. Really don’t know what to do anymore. Can’t travel and go anywhere because who knows when they gonna send a letter for an interview or something else. Everything looks just so hopeless. Just want this to be over.
