i751 expedite request
I submitted a request to expedite my petition to remove conditions on my green card and received the email below. Has anyone ever received similar message? And what was the subsequent outcome?

Please note that the Receipt Notice of Action (Form I-797) you received for your Form I-751 in this case receipt number guarantees that your conditional permanent resident status is extended for 24 months beyond the expiration date shown on your Conditional Permanent Resident Card. You may use this document as proof of pendency for employment and travel purposes.
If your 24-month extension has expired, you must schedule an appointment with your local field or district office as indicated below to receive a stamp in your passport to extend your authorization of work and travel for another year. If you would like to schedule an appointment with your local office, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. You will need to bring this letter, a copy or the original receipt notice and your valid passport with you.

This is my second time applying to remove conditions. I did it back in 2016 and after waiting a long time, they finally sent my interview notice in 2019 but apparently sent it to the wrong address so I never got it and missed the date. Long story short, they terminated my conditional residence and put me in removal. DHS eventually filed a motion to dismiss the removal case which the immigration judge granted so now I’m waiting again for them to process this i-751. I’m literally in limbo and out of status. So hopefully, they’ll take positive action soon.

I stated financial hardship and possible USCIS error. Hardship because I have nothing to show my status and USCIS error because someone wrote the wrong address when they sent the interview notice

I filled my i-751 in Texas . feb 2021. had immigration home visit in July 2021… case Inquiry in December: case pending security check results … I submitted lots of evidence for my form : birth certificate of a child who was given birth to in August 2020, who later passed away the following day after birth. insurance , 401k lots of evidence ….it’s been silence ever since

@ pinky D : Mr Waiting : thanks …I felt having a child together is a strong evidence of a bonafide marriage , and also with the death of my son, I pray the officer handling my case will handle it with compassion , mercy and with sympathy

yes if you are Aug 10 and minimum is Aug 25th so you could apply

@Flex acer: I would have qualified while waiting on them to process the initial i751 back in 2016 but they terminated my conditional status when I missed the interview in 2019. I think if they approve this new i751, I’m starting over with the time to qualify for citizenship.

@Harry Potter. I filed out of processing time service request in early December. All they did was send me an email saying that my case was received in May 2020 (my receipt notice said July 2020) and they are now processing cases received in July 2020. Even though the website was showing that they are processing cases in August 2020. That email just a bunch of nonsense all around.

After all this time guys, I’m back with good news! GC finally approved! Went through so much, from fighting initial denial to fighting removal to going through congressman. Then yesterday I got an update that “appeal was dismissed, case remains denied”. USCIS confirmed that was a glitch message and now today the update changed to Case approved. Tier two agent confirmed that my card is being printed. So happy this part is over!

Thanks Muhammad. They didn’t send a formal response to my expedite request but they did start moving my file around. I think my congressman sending some messages on my behalf also helped. But yes, definitely more like 11 months. Glad this part is over!
