The wait times are extensive unfortunately. I have been waiting since May 2022. I had my N400 interview yesterday, the IO said he approved my 751 but I have not gotten official approval just transferred to office with jusrisdiction. My N400, says I’m in line for oath ceremony. I don’t know if anyone has experienced this

how can you apply passport when you still not apply for citizenship?

some people said that the green card take time, and I think you should be apply citizenship next year so you can get both interview the same time and if you pass you can become a citizen also.

@viv Bik So, did you applied for citizenship before getting the I-751 (10yrs GC) approved? I’m think I’m going to do the same.

@K San, I did. I saw that the time lines continued to get extended, so I decided to go ahead and apply. my interview was 10days shy post 19 months after submitting 751. some field offices are moving through N400 applications faster so you might be in luck.

I applied for i751 in july of 2019 didn't get a response until November of 2023 so it differs for everyone

I apply back in Oct 2023 and no need for Biometrics actively review in California Service Center. they say probably a year from the time you apply will get some kind of update. these types of cases usually takes longer from what I seeing from other cases. Anyone have more info on this ?

my friend got it approved in 10 months and processing time was showing 32 months lol

@Arg Na you already have a year witch is good, I believe you should be almost there! don’t give up hopes. Let us know your status update as many of us are still behind! if anything new comes from my end I will surely posted.
