I730
Hi everyone,
I have a question about my I-730 case.
I filed for my wife and two children around July last year, and I recently submitted an expedite request.
After that, I received duplicate receipt notices (I-797C) for my children, but I haven’t received any decision yet on the expedite or the case itself.
Has anyone experienced the same situation (duplicate receipt notices after expedite)? What happened next in your case, and how long did it take to get a decision?
Thank you.

maybe its a receipt for your wife and the other ine is for your children try call USCIS or check online account usually for expedite you will notified separately. May I know did you do online or mail a letter for expedite request?

Duplicate I-797C receipt notices are typically administrative system re-issuances and do not indicate approval, denial, or substantive movement on the case. USCIS systems may re-generate notices after expedite requests, file transfers, or internal case re-indexing, especially for dependent I-730 derivatives, without reflecting an adjudicative decision.
Expedite requests under USCIS policy are discretionary and do not guarantee faster adjudication or approval. The receipt of duplicate notices alone is not a negative signal and does not indicate an issue with the case. The only meaningful risk indicators would be a Request for Evidence or Notice of Intent to Deny, otherwise, continued pending status after expedite submission is common.

Thank you for your explanation.
In my case, after I submitted an expedite request, I contacted USCIS and received a response saying that my case would be best addressed by the asylum office or consulate, which confused me since I filed through USCIS.
I also received duplicate receipt notices (I-797C) for my children after the expedite request.
Has anyone experienced a similar response from USCIS saying the case is not with them or to contact another office? How did your case proceed after that?
Thank you.
