I’m going on my Sixth months of waiting on them now to approve mine as well. This gives me hope and I can’t wait for that day to finally come.

@Nasir, there’s a time limit they suppose to give you respond which is exactly 7 months, if yours is over a year. Don’t be scared to call them at all, I repeat call them ASAP with no hesitation and let them know that your case is past the due date. And the officer will definitely put a notice in the system and you’ll receive a letter in the mail within 30 days of why it’s taking so long. I am just waiting on mine to hit exactly 7 months and I’ll call them right away without even letting 1 day pass by.

DaRain Maker yes that’s why I post this , so everyone that’s in the same situation can get there hopes up and trust in god I know is hard for everybody going throughout this process, but everything is for a better future .

And yes I was going to send an inquiry after dic but thanks to god they approved my case after 7months and some days not exactly at 7months but it was close!

That’s everything. keeping my fingers crossed and praying for this battle to be over, mine is a 8 years battle, been to hell and back for this but I know rhe Almighty will see me through 🙏🏽

all the medical records from my wife, also all the financial debt that we had , my US citizen children and any medical record from them, school grades plus all the crime there is in my national country. everything you put in your wavier make sure there's proof of everything and very organized.

Keon you got yo go based on uscis timeline, from there if you dont hear nothing from theme after the processing time is due you need to send an inquiry to see why are they taking to long to process you i601

my took 7 months and like 18 days to get approved and at the time there process time for an inquiry was 5 to 7 months just a few days more they approved my i601

you can try to expidate your wavier so they can processes it faster but you have to have a good reason or emergency to get an expidate approved.

i never call them i just try and send an expidate for my wavier but they denied it , so i just wait for it till they approved it.

also after there processing time is due you can send an inquiry to see why they haven't check or reviewed your wavier.

did you leave Usa without i601A ??

I had to leave, i voluntarily departure US do to being in another process with immigration , so an immigration judge told me I couldn't stay in the US anymore , and thank God I was already working on my residence visa with my wife in that time. so yea here I' am waiting in mexico still , but hope now that my i601 was approved everything goes by faster , everything is so slow with all this covid 19

Yes what moe A said. We 3 normal inquiries and we finally got ours approved.

My case is different. We filed a family petition F3 (my husband beneficiary, me and 2 kids) through my mother in law (citizen) we wait many years in USA. When the visa became available my husband filed an I601A for unlawful presence. Got approved and travel to our country for the consular interview with my 2 older kids. At the interview they refused the visa because he had an arrest 18 years ago. According to my lawyer that arrest was not considered a CIMT in Fl. but sadly at the interview they considered it like that and they required to file an I601. Short story we did it..sent an expedite but was denied. My husband and older kids can't come back until the I601 get approved, my younger kids and I we are in USA. That's why I'm asking another ways to do they expedite.

@moe A. We requested expedite on Jan 31st. got denied of Feb 5th. This inquiries you did it through USCIS or with ombudsman?

you left Usa with i601A approval and they refuse visa ? I'm confused , cause once we get i601A approved we are not come under 10 year bar anymore ?🤔🤔
