The I512 is not renewable. You need to pay the I131 fee, which is $630. If you apply for the I512 for just one entry for a period of 1 month, you can get it in a few days. If it's for multiple entries it takes a few months.

I can prove it to you Arthur, this year 2024 I got three letters I512. need to book an appointment at USCIS office and prove the reason for travel. they give you the letter just for one entries in the same day. they will request to pay a $630 fee for rhis!

@JP Ba if you plan to apply for a new AP you need check accordingly filing instructions for your category. You can leave US without AP but your i-485 is going to be "abandoned". If the reason is urgent you may consider applying for expedite request for your AP.

I'll explain how to get an EAP emergency advance parole. I make a letter from the company I work for requesting that I travel abroad for a project, I make this letter myself with the company logo on the sheet. Look:" If you filed Form I-485 on or after July 30, 2007, and before April 1, 2024, you paid the required Form I-485 filing fee and your Form I-485 is still pending.
