for i-485 normally its about i-864 affidavit of support

same for me i-864 even is the same sponsor from k-1 visa and he qualify but they RFE to said is not so i send all again cuz he do and no response since almost 2 months☹️

@june A My RFE was about my birth certificate because it didn’t have my parents name on it.

@june dont be scared most of us get it…..When i was filing my paperwork i submitted my I-864 affidavit of support and they still send me an RFE for it…

For the I-864, the sponsor (you or whoever is sponsoring) must show that their income is at least 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines based on household size. (If the sponsor is on active-duty military and sponsoring a spouse or child, it’s only 100%.)

If your household size is 2 person and your sponsors is not on active-duty in the military then your sponsor will have to be making over $25,550…..And for every additional person who is apart of the household and is a *dependent* so the sponsor claim them on his taxes it an additional $6725…….

remember even though 10 person may live under the same roof not everyone is a dependent…
