yes they still send rfe but the final decision is done when your PD becomes current

I haven't received the letter yet. but it can't be for medical because I submitted the medical with i485. did you get the rfe also?

I applied around the same time.. my pd is also not current.. no update on EAD, AP or 485.. frustrating

@mighty tighty did you answer yes or no to question 61 in Part 8 which asked whether the applicant is subject to the public charge grounds of inadmissibility. I think they are sending RFE for those that answered No

@E Ubah yes I answered no to that question. I also filled 62-68 although it said go to 69 directly. could that be an issue?

@mighty tighty I applied around the same time you did, my case status became case remain pending because an immigrant visa number is not available. I want to believe it’s a good thing the updates are coming.

@K I-485 mine was also case remains pending for a month and today it changed to rfe was sent. I will keep you updated as to what they are asking in the rfe

@E Ubah shall the answer to question 61 be yes or no? my attorney recommended no for all? is this a big issue?

@Ahmed E R my attorney indicated that per USCIS new policy question 61 should be yes for everyone except asylees and refugees

@Ahmed E R the correct answer is Yes for EB VISAS, many people ticked no including me. I got to know later after some people got RFE for it

@tee am there’s a policy change and unless you are asylee, a refugee or special granted immigrant, you are supposed to tick yes. Read the link attached in the thread
