are you going to change your process ? if I remember your process is i485…

@K I married 2 years in May, spoke to the lawyer and they said it’s possible to change from consular processing to the adjustment of status route to be in the US however I can’t work until i765 is sorted

@Mika La Rock no I’m outside of the US. I really don’t think it’s worth changing this late into the game if I can’t work, I’m just going to go over for 2 months for a holiday and use up my annual leave at my work

@Jacob Needham oh man. Why would a lawyer ask you to do that? Thats grounds for denial.. think about it...thats the first thing that will cross the immigration officers mind, you came up with the intent to stay....Why cant your wife file a memorandums? They must make a decison on your case once one is filed providing your case is outside the processing time..look into it.

@E R when it comes to law immagration officers only care about filing adjustment of status before the 90 days being on an ESTA, it’s a written law, but I can’t afford to go to the US until around July so by the time I can get back to the US I have a feeling the i130 will be approved

I applied for the i130, i485 and i765 on December 9th, biometrics on the 30th of January, i765 approved on the 31st of January, got my EAD on the 5th of this month.
