be patient, I have been where you are but take a moment to thank God you are at least working (if you are) but it’s a great start having that EAD. if you’re I-130 was approved, it’s only a matter of time before the I-485 does as well. trust me I am currently a green card holder whose green card was given “by mistake “ and praise God because they let me keep it. but I am now in the process yet again to get a new Green Card through my spouse, because USCIS won’t allow my to become a citizen with the one I have. So it may seem like a nightmare but it will pass. you got this

This was my strategy in case you want to do something to move forward, it worked for me. I did this after calling USCIS to find out how my case was going. I used the request tools, the one referring to exceeded processing time, but in reality my case was being processed within the time. What I did was, in the bar to specify the last action on the case, I put that the last action was that they received the medical docs 7 months ago, and then in the same space I explained my desperation and my situation. Two days later they responded by email that they have an excessive workload, and the next day I received approval. I said I had depression and that I couldn't take it anymore, and it's true. It was difficult to wait so long. I lost my dad, grandmother and uncle during this process. Thank God everything went well and they didn't interview me, now I'm just waiting for the GC, which from what I read there is a bit of a delay due to the volume of card production. Another thing, they approved me at NBC direct without transferring me to my local office, I know this because the same day before doing the erequest I called to find out if there was any update and they said that there were no changes in my case, and I asked if there was a possibility of being approved without being sent to my local office, and they answered me: YES, in some cases they do, mostly when an interview is not required as was my case, which means that even if they haven't transferred you it doesn't mean they can't approve you at any time. Just have faith and don't get tired of calling and making requests. My PD was 01/11/2023

I think the fact that you just got your EAD means things will start to move with your case. I feel you… I have only been waiting 10 months but my 130 is still at received and I’m in the US with my American family. crickets after an RFIE in October. super frustrating to see them approve October cases while only “receiving” mine.

@n f- I'm also on the same boat as you are. I have been waiting for over 1600+ days and now i'm on the final strecth and nothing seems to advance, it stuck..i haven't seen my family ist been 11 years and i dont know why they are taking so long, this is very stressful. I just hope to hear something good soon and wish you luck as well.

I think you needed to file both I-130 and I-485 together back in 2021. Had you done so, you could have been approved by now. I see another six months for I-485 approval considering your PS being 2023.
