yes I did my interview for my i130 he was approved last April 2021. And my i485 was filed with uscis with Imigration court no approval yet .I was filed on august 9th 2021. I do my fingerprints on October 26th 2021

no my i485 still active your case was received Texas service center

Baltimore can u please tell me how to check my case like that because I was scheduled for my master for feb 22 but I received a letter last week sayin my hearing was canceled for future date but they didn’t send the new date yet so it my be terminated too but I don’t know how to check it please help

most lawyers tell me to not apply for i485 until the i130 is approved , what do you guys suggest because I want to file so I can take the receipt notice the my local dmv to get my license

ok looks like you the court will issue you a new hearing date, so make sure to keep checking, secondly do not apply i485 right now until you get approved for i130, you should have applied concurrently before, when you were filing for I130, but now you should just wait and get rid of court first, also you can’t get driver license on receipts, you will need EAD card and SSN for that, do you have EAD CARD??

my friend got her license in Florida with just her receipt notice and proof of address. not all dmvs will do it but some location in Florida does.

ok yes you can check it with DMV, here in CA they wouldn’t allow DL without valid EAD

and I don’t have a ead and she don’t have one either not even social they give her a temporary one for one year

oh ok but you should have applied for EAD FORM i765

even if you are in removal proceedings you can still get EAD

lol how do u know she’s a citizen? she’s from Brazil married to a usc went to the dmv with her adjustment of status receipt notice and they give her a temporary license. she never had a work or a social and he been here since 2016 overstay her visa.

now I’m not in removal proceedings, and I already have interview regarding i130 and i485, so I am expecting to hear from USCIS soon,
