my case was long and strange I got married and sent the i130, i485 in March 2017 I had my first marriage interview in February 2018 by that time I already had situations with my ex-wife after the interview it lasted 2 years for the second interview in that process I sent my vawa and a new i485 in October 2019 by February 2020 I had my second interview to which I went alone and it could not be adjusted from there almost two years passed to approve my vawa and in September 2023 I had my interview for vawa which they had in November 2023 I received a letter of attempted denial (they alleged nonsensical things like asking for a pardon which I could not because I entered the country legally and never accumulated days of illegality on the other hand the officer who interviewed me did not look for a translator my native language is Spanish and the strangest thing was that he evaluated me under the adjustment of my ex-wife which he could not do .. From there the response was sent, we refused because my rights had been violated and finally 17 months later they made the correct decision approving my green card. Those were 8 years of a lot of frustration and injustice. I'm just saying that an officer can make a mistake, unfortunately it was my turn and I had to bear that burden all these years. Today, thank God, I can say that justice was done and here we are to improve and continue growing. God bless you all.
